The California Mayors Education Roundtable, a WestEd initiative, brings together mayors of California’s larger cities, district superintendents, and their key staff to share data, evidence-based and promising practices, and programmatic strategies that can help address local challenges affecting students’ educational and career success. The Roundtable is convened by WestEd and funded with core support by The James Irvine Foundation.

The California Mayors Education Roundtable is partnering with StudentsFirst, a national advocacy organization with over 120,000 members in California, for our winter event series, the California Mayors in Education Forum. Mayors will be hosting events in Fresno, LA, Sacramento, San Diego and San Jose in town-hall style settings.
